Comments: another CEN article

I suppose I should just be grateful to Rev. Kings, that he recommends Falls Church and Truro "stay and wait for the Anglican Covenant."

But Kings so stacks the decks, that just what is this supposed solution worth?

"Under Archbishop Drexel Gomez, the Communion is developing a Covenant into which provinces can opt."

Needless to say, TEC was not consulted, before this *grossly inappropriate* choice of ++Gomez was made. Talk about a stacked deck! >:-0

"Coupled with the concept of 'constituent' members of the Anglican Communion (those who adopt the covenant) and 'associate' status (for those who do not)"

I've got news for Rev. Kings: TEC's "constituent" status in the AC is a HISTORICAL FACT, which *cannot* be undone retroactively, through a kangaroo-court Covenant!

Finally, there's this:

"The consecration of a bishop, like Gene Robinson, who admits to a current sexual relationship outside of marriage, is hardly likely to take place in England. Vigilance is still needed,"

Yet more *ungracious* behind-the-back talk of +New Hampshire. Please cite me where +GR has EVER described *himself* as being in a "sexual relationship outside of marriage"?

Vigilance is need, alright: vigilance against those who would enact a "Covenant" against the splinters of others, while failing to remove their own LOGS!
